Health Conditions Form and Recommendations for Runners 運動員健康狀況表格及建議

All runners registered for the Hong Kong International Airport • Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon: Three-Runway System 10km International Race (thereafter “the Race”), please read the questions below and answer each of them honestly. Common sense is your best guide when you answer these questions.

所有報名參加「香港國際機場• 渣打香港馬拉松: 三跑道系統十公里國際賽」(下稱「賽事」)的跑手,請詳細閱讀以下問題並誠實地回答每一個問題。普通常識是回答這些問題的最佳指引。

2. If you answered YES to one or more questions, your physical condition may not be suitable for taking part in the Race. It is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED that you consult your doctor by phone or in person BEFORE you take part in the Race. Tell your doctor about the questions you answered YES and follow his/her advice. You should take part in the Race only if your doctor advises you that you can do so without risk.

如果你的答案有一條或以上答「是」,你的身體狀況可能不適合參與賽事。在參與賽事前強烈建議你先致電或親身諮詢你的醫生,告知醫生這份問卷,以及你回答「是」的問題,並聽從他的意見。你應該只有在醫生建議的適合身體狀況下參與賽事。

3. Recommendations 安全建議

It is important to understand that Hong Kong International Airport • Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon: Three-Runway System 10km International Race is a physically demanding endurance event. You should participate in the event only if you have adequately prepared. If you experience any abnormal symptoms during the race, e.g. chest pain, dizziness, severe nausea, unusual shortness of breath, change in running form, confusion and disorientation, it is crucial that you immediately stop the race and seek medical assistance on the spot. Although you may feel it is more important to finish the race, your health should always be your top priority.

你應了解「香港國際機場• 渣打香港馬拉松: 三跑道系統十公里國際賽」是考驗耐力的賽事,你應在充分的準備下參與是次賽事。如果你發現比賽期間身體出現任何異常症狀,例如:胸口痛、頭暈、嚴重噁心、異常呼吸短促、跑姿改變、神志不清和迷失方向,你應該立即停止賽事並即場尋求醫療協助。你可能覺得完成比賽更重要,但你應該優先考慮你的健康。
